During an official visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan, our university was honored to host a delegation from the regional leadership of the British global Association of Certified Public Accountants, represented by the Head of ACCA Eurasia – Katka Benesova, Head of ACCA Kazakhstan – Zhanna Iskenova, and Regional Development Manager – Kuandyk Moldabaev.
During the discussions, representatives of ACCA outlined global prospects for further cooperation development and expressed their full readiness to support STARS International University in upcoming unique initiatives and developments. We had the opportunity to share details about our faculty's successes, outline our future strategy for developing and promoting the ACCA qualification in the region, and, of course, announce the excellent news regarding the recognition of STARS International University's national bachelor's degree in 52309000 – Accounting and Auditing by the British government, represented by the national agency ECCTIS (UK ENIC). The diploma awarded by the university for this specialization is recognized as equivalent to a bachelor's degree from UK universities and does not require nostrification within the British educational system.
In addition to its long-standing and successful practice in training for ACCA qualifications and corresponding global certifications, STARS International University has undertaken a monumental effort in developing and launching a curriculum that is unparalleled globally. It rightfully stands as the sole ACCA-accredited bachelor's program in the state language, exempting its graduates from official ACCA examinations in English or Russian.
