STARS in Baku: An Encounter That Will Last a Lifetime
We came to Baku not just with brochures. We came to listen, to share, to connect.
STARS University participated in the international exhibition of Uzbek universities in Baku. It was not a formal presentation – it was a meeting filled with genuine attention, warmth, and dialogue.
We were listened to attentively, and we responded substantively. We spoke about opportunities, about the future, about Uzbekistan as a growth point where one can not only study but also transform.
STARS is the only university in Uzbekistan that is a member of the International Astronautical Federation (IAF).
We are alongside NASA, ESA, and SpaceX.
And that is precisely why people approached our booth not out of curiosity, but with questions: "How can I join?"
Schoolchildren, parents, teachers, and lyceum directors.
Instead of banal presentations – live conversations.
Instead of slogans – an honest picture of what we aim to achieve together with the youth.
But the exhibition was only part of the trip.
The organizers conducted a tour for the participants to key spiritual and cultural sites of Baku.
We visited places where Azerbaijan speaks of itself not through words, but through its very essence.
This was a dialogue not only of universities but also of values.
As part of the visit, there were meetings with representatives of Azerbaijani universities,
and formats for academic and cultural cooperation were discussed.
STARS University thanks the organizers, Ingla School, the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Azerbaijan, and the Central Scientific Library for the high level of organization and their heartfelt hospitality.
This trip was not a presentation. It was an invitation – to a shared future.
For some, it was just a trip.
For us, it was a growth point.
And a point of return – because we will definitely be back.
