Rectors' Forum: STARS at the Center of Strategic Dialogue | DAY 1

STARS University at the I Forum of Rectors of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan in Andijan

Two states, dozens of universities, and a unified course – building long-term partnerships in higher education.

The forum served as a significant international platform, bringing together over 130 participants, including the leadership of approximately 50 universities, representatives of ministries, diplomatic missions, and the academic community.

Forum topics included:

• Double degree programs

• Student and faculty academic mobility

• Joint research projects

• Professional development and exchange of educational methodologies

• Promotion of universities in international rankings

STARS University actively participated in panel discussions, thematic negotiations, and working sessions, sharing its experience in integrating international educational standards in Uzbekistan.

This forum was a reciprocal visit following a similar recent event in Azerbaijan, which also discussed prospects for bilateral academic cooperation.

For STARS University, this is more than just participation.

It is a contribution to systemic changes and dialogue, where we engage on equal terms with national and international academic structures.
