June 21-22 marked the opening of a new chapter in Uzbekistan-Azerbaijan relations.

The visit of the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, to Uzbekistan, at the invitation of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, was marked by the signing of a series of strategically important agreements and the historic decision to elevate bilateral strategic partnership to the level of allied relations.

Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan are not just allies, but also fraternal nations with shared cultural and spiritual values, language, and customs.
