Appeals Policy
The results review and appeals procedure provides candidates with the opportunity to ensure that the assessment and moderation process carried out by STARS International University® and its global network of partners has been carried out correctly.
Results review and appeals ensure that the grade awarded is fully justified, including any adjustments, special considerations and/or sanctions for academic misconduct.
Scope and grounds for appeal:
STARS International University®'s Review and Appeals Policy applies solely to assessment and moderation procedures and their application, and not to matters of academic judgment.
Appropriate grounds for appeal include:
If a review of results or appeal shows that the result originally awarded is higher than justified by the candidate's work, the grade may be reduced. If a review or appeal raises doubts about the accuracy of grades awarded to other candidates, a full investigation will be conducted to ensure that all grades awarded are correct.
Procedure:
To apply for a review and/or appeal, please contact the STARS International University® Administration Office. The applicant will be provided with an appeal form to complete and submit to the program coordinators for further review.
