STARS International University: Reaching for the STARS

STARS International University has become the first university not only in Uzbekistan but in the entire Central Asia to achieve the status of an honorary member of the International Astronautical Federation (IAF). This milestone opens a new chapter in the nation’s history, highlighting Uzbekistan’s ambition to become a part of the global space community.
IAF, established in 1951, is the world’s largest organization dedicated to fostering international cooperation in space exploration. Today, its members include more than 70 leading space agencies and hundreds of institutions and companies, such as NASA, ESA, SpaceX, Roscosmos, CNSA, ISRO, JAXA, TUA, and others. Being part of this federation underlines not only the unique status of STARS International University, but also Uzbekistan’s strategic role in shaping the future of science and technology.
