Private higher education entity STARS International University is a premium university providing services in the field of higher education, global qualifications, and international exams. It is one of the fastest growing international universities in Central Asia, located in the city of Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan.

Guided by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 24, 2020 No. PD-4611 “On additional measures for the transition to international financial reporting standards,” the internationally recognized UK financial qualification provided by ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) was introduced into the undergraduate curriculum. The faculty is managed in accordance with the above regulations and state requirements for higher education, and the undergraduate program “Global Business Technologies and Finance” with a unique state classifier has received ACCA accreditation with 9 exam exemptions and fully complies with ACCA teaching standards.

Candidates applying for NCC Level 3 International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education Studies or NCUK International Foundation Year at STARS University must provide the following:
  • Passport/ID
  • Certificate of secondary education
  • Certificate of English language proficiency
Candidates applying for direct entry to Year 2 undergraduate at STARS University must provide the following:
  • Passport/ID
  • NCUK IFY or NCC L3 diploma, or equivalent
  • Official academic transcript or educational background verification
STARS University reserves the right to administer entrance exams to assess and validate applicants' existing knowledge.

Based on the negotiations and a memorandum signed with the Ministry of Public Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, from September 2021, STARS INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY is launching a British national school program in computer literacy and information technology in schools in Uzbekistan.

The uniqueness of this additional education to the school curriculum will be that school graduates, along with state certificates, will be awarded with “Level 2 Award” (UK) – the equivalent of an international general certificate of secondary education (IGCSE), TOEFL international certificate (US), as well as SAT (US).
